How does call recording work on Nexbro UCM?
Nexbro stores call recordings on appliance NVMe storage with retention suited to compliance and quality review.
How does call recording work on Nexbro UCM?
Nexbro Unified Communication Manager records calls on the appliance, using high-speed Gen4 NVMe storage (up to 2TB depending on configuration). The platform is designed to record 200+ concurrent calls in compressed format, which keeps long retention practical without shipping every recording to a public cloud.
What you can control
- Which calls are recorded — by extension, queue, trunk, or policy suited to your industry (for example finance desks or hospital service lines).
- Retention and access — keep recordings on-premises with role-based admin so only authorized staff can listen or export.
- Call Center Module — inbound and outbound campaigns use the same UCM recording store, so agents and supervisors stay on one platform.
After major configuration changes, use the UCM backup and restore tools so settings, logs, and recording policies can be recovered together. For sizing guidance (storage days vs. concurrent recorded channels), contact sales with your peak call volume.
